The head of the central banking supervision department of the National Bank of Belarus, Mashnina Yelena, has announced that nine Belarusian banks will undergo an IT audit to test their cyber resilience. 

The IT audit will be composed of the following stages:

1. analysis of the current state of information technology;
2. in-depth analysis of the information security system and cyber resilience;
3. assessment of the capabilities / maturity of IT processes.

Вased on the information received, it is planned to develop a document for the entire banking sector relating to risk management in banks, primarily to IT systems.

Reports and summaries will be submitted to the National Bank by October 1, 2020.
