Moldova’s Ministry of Education, with the support of Orange Moldova and in collaboration with the University Information Centre has launched ‘Connect teachers’ – a national campaign aimed at ensuring the continuity of the distance education process.

Orange Moldova will allocate 50 GB of Mobile Internet traffic, free of charge, to teachers who have limited access to the Internet and have an active Orange telephone number. The mobile Internet will also benefit teachers included in lists presented by school administrations.

The campaign covers all schools – primary and secondary, public and private – that use distance learning tools.

Mobile Internet traffic will be allocated by Orange Moldova on April 22. The mobile Internet traffic offered is valid for 2 months from the moment of allocation and is not available in Roaming. At the time of allocation, the beneficiaries will receive a notification via SMS.
