A Digital Skills Partnership platform for Azerbaijan was launched on 15 December at a video conference organised by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and the EU4Digital Facility, as part of ‘InnoWeek – Innovation Week 2020’.
The platform is designed in line with EU national coalitions for digital skills and jobs, and aims to expand cooperation between all interested institutions and organisations working in the field of digital skills, to coordinate the work done, and at the same time to develop public-private partnerships on digital skills.
The meeting was addressed by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Valizade, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov and the Head of the EU Delegation in Azerbaijan Kestutis Yankauskas, as well as Rauf Jabarov, Director of the ICT Application and Training Centre, who made a presentation on the creation, principles, goals and prospects of the Digital Skills Partnership Platform (National Coalition).
Any organisation related to digital skills can join the partnership.
EU4Digital supports the establishment of national coalitions for digital skills and jobs in all six Eastern partner countries.
