The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Armenia, with the support and funding of the Europe Union under the EU4Business initiative, is organising an online webinar on the Digital Transformation of Small and Medium Size Enterprises on 25 June.
The Digital Transformation of SMEs is the process by which organisations or companies reorganise their work methods and strategies, to obtain more benefits thanks to the digitalisation of operations and the effective implementation of new technologies.
The topic is especially important during the COVID19 crisis, highlighting the urgent need for catalysing the process of the digital transformation of the business.
The event is aimed at:
presenting the main advantages of the Digital Transformation for the private sector,
raising awareness about the Digital Transformation of SMEs, main processes and values it brings to the SMEs,
presenting the Digital Transformation Programme in Armenia: main activities and results of the comprehensive multispectral study,
initiating dialogue with key stakeholders on the possibilities of development of the topic in Armenia and beyond.
The webinar will be led by a High-Level expert on Innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems builder, member of the European Innovation Council Accelerator of the European Commission Jesus Lozano, and local expert in innovation and entrepreneurship Arusyak Khudaverdyan.
The event is open to all interested parties and stakeholders. The working language is English.
