A hackathon for technology in school education is being organised in Georgia on 8-10 May, to create technological aids for pupils from seventh to twelfth grade to make visualizing, mastering and understanding their school material easier and more innovative.
The hackathon – organised by the Kaikona platform for personal and professional development – aims to address the shortage in available tools, websites, applications and videos in the Georgian language highlighted by the coronavirus lockdown.
Participants have the chance to win a symbolic cash prize of 1,500 GEL for the top 3 teams, as well as be involved in the Social Impact Award 2020 and win a grant in the future Bank of Georgia Entrepreneurial Grant Competition, and receive business support from the Spark Business Accelerator – finding sponsors, project development, etc.
