Across the Eastern partner countries, five years of EU support in connecting research and education communities has brought ‘big picture’ benefits in terms of reduced costs for increased network connectivity to Europe for the research and education communities. But what have the impacts been on a country-by-country level? The achievements of the six partner National research and education network from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine have now been highlighted in separate stories for you to explore.
For the past five years, the EU has been delivering digital infrastructure and solutions to the research and education communities in the Eastern Partner countries through the ‘EU4Digital: Connecting Research and Education Communities (EaPConnect)’ project, which began a second five-year phase in July 2020.
Each story includes a local translation of the recently published project achievements video, examples of research activities that have been positively impacted by the support of the project and the local partner, and a handy link to all the stories about that country that have been published on the EaPConnect website.
So, if you want to compare facts and figures from country to country, or dive into one country’s achievements and explore in more depth, check out the stories from IIAP NAS RA – ASNET (Armenia), IIT of ANAS – AzScienceNet (Azerbaijan), UIIP NASB – BASNET (Belarus), GRENA (Georgia), RENAM (Moldova) and URAN (Ukraine). They are all linked from the main project achievements page, which itself will be kept updated during the second phase of the EaPConnect project.
