Five new technology parks are to be created in Belarus, in Baranovichi, Borisov, Bobruisk, Orsha and Molodechno, the Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, Alexander Shumilin, has announced.
There are currently 16 technology parks and nine technology transfer centres in Belarus, with over 500 new jobs created in technology parks in Belarus over the past year for a total of 2,500.
In 2021, a new National Children’s Technopark will be established. It will on year-round basis, but the main programmes will be covered from September to June.
The National Children’s Technopark will include 15 innovative laboratories in the areas of robotics, aerospace, green chemistry, engineering ecology, and biology.
