An Innovation Start-up Camp for Students will be held in Bakuriani, Georgia, from March 12 to March 15. The camp is organised by the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), in the framework of the World Bank’s National Innovation Ecosystem project.
The main topic of the camp will be biotechnology and bioengineering.
Students will also learn about entrepreneurship and start-up creation. With the help of experienced local and foreign mentors, students will work together to create innovative biotech ideas. After the camp, students will receive further support to develop their ideas into a tangible product.
The camp is open to students of biology, biochemistry, medicine, computer science, computer and electrical engineering and information technology of any Georgian higher education institution. Participants must be able to understand and engage in English language lectures.
The deadline for registration is March 7.
