Trust and Security Network workshop focuses on challenges and common priorities

The EU4Digital facility organised an EU4Digital Trust and Security Network workshop on 12-13 June In Chisinau, Moldova.
The main goal of the workshop was to get an update on countries’ priorities and challenges in the Trust & Security domain, and to identify common priorities regarding the Network’s work plan, as well as to discuss the Network’s activities (including pilot projects) for 2019.
The first day of the workshop was dedicated to Trust stream activities and the second to Cybersecurity-related topics. Representatives from all six EaP countries took part.
Representatives from the European Commission presented an update on EU policy in the field of cyber security and the latest EC Initiatives on eIDAS. EaP countries shared their latest developments in the cyber area as well as Digital Trust domains.Discussion on the partner countries’ priorities in trust and security and the EU4Digital Trust and Security network’s structure and work plan all enabled the EU4Digital project team to better adapt the project structure and deliverables for ensuring synergy and smooth cooperation.
