12 Armenian startups with joint pavilion of the Ministry were presented at «DigiTec23»

Twelve Armenian start-ups got the chance to showcase their products during ‘DigiTec23’ on 13-15 October 2023. The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia provided an exhibition pavilion where these startups displayed and met with event participants. All twelve start-ups are actively engaged in the Ministry’s grant and state support initiatives.
Six of the exhibited start-ups had the distinction of being beneficiaries of the ‘From Idea to Business’ grant programme:
ReEducate: an educational digital platform that uses augmented reality (AR) technologies to create interactive learning experiences;
FBF: an innovative device that translates text from any language into Braille, enhancing accessibility for individuals with severe visual impairments or blindness;
VRDrob: a mobile application that harnesses artificial intelligence (AI) and AR technologies, enabling users to virtually try on and purchase glasses using their smartphones;
Blink: a computer application to mitigate and prevent health issues related to extended use of digital screens, particularly focusing on back and eye health;
HI.BIONIK.HAND: a high-tech product design startup dedicated to the development and production of bionic upper limb prostheses;
AllClean: a virtual platform to find service providers, compare options and reviews, and select the most suitable pricing for cleaning services.
One company benefited from a state support programme allowing for up to a 95 percent return of income tax:
Addevice: a mobile product development company focusing on strategic, design and software development solutions for start-up and enterprise companies.
Additionally, three start-ups were participants in the ‘Neruzh’ diaspora tech start-ups programme:
BioCentric: a biotechnology company integrating AI and computational biophysics to reduce risks and facilitate groundbreaking drug discovery;
ATM Company: specialising in the development of telemedicine technologies;
Parsl.ai: a start-up that enhances image quality from satellites and UAVs.
Other notable contributors to the technology landscape included:
INOGATE: a technology company offering advanced software solutions and optical tooling to advance the UAV industry;
AZAD Medical Devices: an Armenian-Swiss collaboration offering a novel room-temperature sterilisation method in the production of medical sterilisation equipment.
