Coronavirus response

Over the past months, we have all been living under exceptional circumstances due to the Coronavirus outbreak. “The European Commission is working around the clock to address the Coronavirus crisis. We are funding research, we are financing the development of vaccines, we support companies and people who risk losing their jobs,” said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The EU is also working with its Eastern partner countries, with a significant package of support, both for the immediate needs of health systems, as well as longer term needs to the most vulnerable groups in society and support to business.

Despite the circumstances, EU4Digital is still working on delivering its results: while face to face events and meetings currently cannot take place, online work continues, including meetings and workshops. Today’s situation demonstrates the vital importance of digital networks and solutions for the wellbeing of citizens and the resilience of countries.
