First EU4Digital Academy digital skills course is open!
Date: 09/04/24
EU4Digital Facility invites citizens and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ukraine to register for the first course available in the new EU4Digital Academy digital learning programme. The user-friendly ‘eCommerce in EU Marketplaces’ online course is useful for learners who have no prior knowledge about eCommerce and want to start their journey, or who are already selling products online in their own country but who want to also sell in the European Union (EU).
The ‘eCommerce in EU Marketplaces’ course materials explain what the major EU eCommerce marketplaces are, how to select the most suitable marketplace, how to register and start selling, and how to navigate EU rules such as VAT and customs. Each course package will be tailored to a specific country and produced in the corresponding national language. The first course to roll out is specific to Ukraine and is available in English and Ukrainian languages.
Versions of the ‘eCommerce in EU Marketplaces’ course that are tailored to Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia will be launched by the EU4Digital Academy later in 2024.
Course enrolment and benefits
To enrol in the course that has been created for Ukrainian citizens and enterprises, simply head to the eCommerce in EU Marketplaces web page. Just above the course description, you will see two green buttons that allow you to enrol in English or in Ukrainian. When you click, you are taken to the EU4Digital Academy course page on the atingi platform, where a more detailed course description is available. At the bottom of that page, use the red ‘Click here to enrol’ button to create an atingi account. Then you’ll be taken back to the course page to start your learning journey.
All EU4Digital Academy course trainees will benefit from the opportunity to gain an EU-aligned micro-credential, called a badge. Each badge can then be displayed on social media or a CV to serve as verifiable proof of the new skills and knowledge gained.
