Date: 13/10/23
A new project will create a unified digital education ecosystem in Ukraine, supporting higher education development in the context of martial law and post-war recovery. The ‘Digital University — Open Ukrainian Initiative (DigiUni)’ project is funded by the European Union (EU) under the Erasmus+ programme. On 11 October 2023, the project was launched at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The project team, led by the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, is a strong international partnership of universities and associations from France, Germany, Spain, Czechia and Poland, ten Ukrainian universities, as well as the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and the Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals.
Based on EU best practices, the team will create the digital ecosystem to provide continuous, high-quality, inclusive and transparent education, regardless of the location of students and academic staff, using digital innovations in education.
