The EU4Digital report ‘Assessment of the EU institutional and legal framework and best practice examples’ serves to build awareness about up-to-date electronic freight transport information (eFTI) exchange practices at the EU level and their relevance or even criticality to the Eastern partner countries.
The report covers ongoing initiatives and practices in key areas that support the exchange of freight information: authorities, legal framework, international conventions, practical implementation, technical enablers and standards, as well as practical examples of eFTI deployment in EU countries.
Aimed at logistics sector governmental representatives of Eastern partner countries, this report also provides background for assessment of the eFTI state of play in Eastern partner countries.
Assessment of the EU institutional and legal framework and examples of best practices is part of the Digital Transport Corridors activity within the eTrade thematic area of EU4Digital Facility Phase II.
