Feedback welcome: Digital Decade performance indicators – deadline 13 March
Date: 28/02/23
The European Commission is inviting feedback on a draft act regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) of progress towards the Digital Decade policy programme 2030. These KPIs are to be used to measure underlying trends at the national as well as European level. Anyone wishing to participate is welcome to login via the EC information page and share their views before the deadline: midnight, Brussels time on 13 March 2023.
The Digital Decade policy programme 2023 sets concrete objectives and targets in four key areas for the development of the digital economy: digital skills, infrastructure including connectivity, the digitalisation of businesses, and online public services. The draft act sets out the KPIs based upon which the Member States and the Commission shall measure progress towards these digital targets.
Feedback that is submitted in compliance with the provided rules will be published on the EC information page and will be taken into account for finalising this initiative. Registration or login with social media is required.
The programme was established in Decision (EU) 2022/2481, which set out a monitoring and cooperation mechanism for the programme and a framework for multi-country projects.
