Free IT training programme for girls and women in Moldova

Girls and women from Moldova can benefit from new career opportunities by signing up forthe second edition of the National IT Training Programme. The deadline for registration is 1 November.
The current edition will allow participants to opt for one of the 3 study areas: Front-End Development, Software Testing, Digital Skills, giving them the opportunity to accumulate highly valuable and useful digital skills for any workplace.
The initiative provides for the enrollment of 500 girls and women from all over the country and is free. In order to participate, interested persons are asked to fill in the registration form here by November 1, 2019.
The training programmewill include online (3-5 months) and offline (2 months) sessions held from November 2019 to June 2020. During 3-5 months, participants will study online for a minimum of 15 minutes per day. The following 2 months will be dedicated to practical workshops, during which the participants will consolidate and apply the accumulated knowledge, guided by experienced mentors. In total, 30 hours of practical training will be completed at the training centre.
The programme is implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC) with the financial support of Sweden and UN Women (United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women) as part of the project on ‘Empowerment of women in the field of technologies’.
The main objective of the project is to promote gender equality through information and communication technologies and to raise awareness that technologies are tools that allow the creation of a society in which women and men can contribute and participate substantially and equally.
