Moldova: TAIEX Expert Mission on transposition of the European Electronic Communications Code

Experts from Finland and Italy will share their experience with colleagues from the Republic of Moldova, on the practical issues faced during the implementation of the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC), during a Video Tele Conference on 29-30 March 2021, organised under the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX).
The EECC sets an EU-level legal framework to coordinate national legislation on electronic communications networks and services, from telephony to basic internet access.
The aim of the expert mission is to provide advice on the transposition of the European Electronic Communication Code and guidance on institutional procedures required to implement the Code into the Moldovan national legislation.
The target audience includes senior officials and experts from the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology, other authorities such as National Centre for Personal Data Protection, IT and Cyber Security Service, Security and Intelligence Service, Ministry of Interior, operators and ATIC (Moldovan Association of ICT Companies).
