Georgian High Energy Physics Institute to use Cloud infrastructure set up with EU support

The Georgian High Energy Physics Institute of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will use Cloud infrastructure that was established with EU support, according to a new Memorandum of Cooperation. 

The cooperation between GRENA, the Georgian Research and Educational Networking Association, and the institute will provide Cloud resources that include 12 core, 64 GB RAM, 10 TB storage and IT support. These resources will be used for scientific research using KM3NeT, the neutrino telescope research infrastructure in the Mediterranean sea. 

Establishment of the GRENA cloud infrastructure was co-funded by the European Union as part of the EU4Digital EaPConnect project.
