Moldova and Poland strengthen ties between regulatory authorities in the field of electronic communications

A delegation from the Polish regulatory authorities for electronic communication carried out a working visit to Chisinau on October 22-23at the invitation of their Moldovan counterparts.
The National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI)hosted the delegation from the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) of Poland, led by its president, Marcin Cichy.
The working visit aimed to exchange information and experience on a range of regulatory issues of mutual interest for both authorities, in particular regarding the realisation of a digital map of public electronic communications networks and of the infrastructure elements associated with them.
During the visit, UKE representatives shared their experience and best practices for implementing digital mapping of broadband electronic communications networks and services, setting requirements for design and placementofassociated infrastructure, as well as monitoring compliance with relevant requirements.
In turn, ANRCETI specialists focusedon regulating the electronic communications markets, in particular, the transit market for traffic on public telephone networks, but also on other topics, such as establishing service quality indicatorsfor electronic communications and the methodology for measuring and evaluating the specific parameters of these indicators.
The Polish Electronic Communications Office is one of the seven regulatory authorities in European countries (Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Republic of Northern Macedonia, and Croatia),with which ANRCETI has concluded a Collaboration Agreement on facilitating cooperation and information exchange. in the field of electronic communications.
