As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses have ceased operations and many of them will not reopen. People will need solutions adapted to the new reality, and the most ingenious entrepreneurs are starting to develop them from now.
In this context, the Dreamups Innovation Campus in Moldova has launched Upcelerator – a completely online start-up accelerator.
“We managed to attract over 30 mentors and international and local experts in the programme, they will offer weekly live sessions and one-on-one mentoring with each participant. We will run a four-month programme, where young entrepreneurs will be able to expose themselves to topics in all areas of a business, from ideas, branding, marketing, sales, to finance and how to find money for the business. At the end of the programme, those who qualify can receive investments of up to $10,000 in their start-up,” the organisers say.
It is a unique programme for both the Republic of Moldova and the region – a real acceleration programme with all its components, now exclusively online, which has allowed the connection of experts from around the world.
The programme is aimed at young people who are developing a digital business whose product or service can serve a national, regional and even global market.
