EU4Digital eHealth virtual event on COVID-19 response measures

The EU4Digital eHealth team is organising a virtual eHealth event on 6 May, which aims to bring together eHealth Network members from the six Eastern partner countries to discuss upcoming activities and best practices in COVID-19 management. The European Commission will also take this opportunity to introduce recently published work on interoperable Green certificates for safe travelling in the (post) pandemic times.
In the first part of the event, the EU4Digital eHealth team will share the outline of upcoming eHealth activities to align the next steps with eHealth Network. This discussion will be followed by the European Commission representative introducing the EC’s work on Green certificates – a digital proof that a person has either:
been vaccinated against COVID-19
received a negative test result or
recovered from COVID-19.
In the second part of the event, the EU4Digital eHealth stream leader will talk about EU experience in finding digital solutions to support the vaccination process and respond to COVID-19 challenges brough to healthcare.Finally, eHealth Network representatives from each Eastern partner country will share information about the COVID-19 eHealth response and vaccination support in their countries.
