Date: 17/02/20
The EU4Digital eHealth team held an online video workshop on 11 February bringing together stakeholders from the six Eastern partner countries to facilitate collaboration in the area of eHealth.
The workshop first focused on discussing the results of the project’s eHealth harmonization and interoperability assessment, which revealed key areas for further development in the partner countries, namely data privacy, user centricity and service-oriented design of eHealth at national level.
Workshop participants also worked on discussing the topicality and importance of several digital eHealth areas in their countries. The highest interest was expressed for:
data analysis,
digital solutions for health and care
proactive prevention.
Participants shared insights regarding relevant projects completed in their countries, and agreed to collect and share good practices during the next Network workshops and meetings.
The workshop also presented opportunities to be involved in the European Innovative Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) programme, which is operated by Funka.
Partner countries expressed interest in further collaboration, and agreed to hold another video workshop before the eHealth Network meeting in May.
