On 9 December, EU4Digital Facility will hold a virtual event, back-to-back with the 9th eTrade Network Workshop, to showcase the eDelivery solution.
One of EU4Digital Facility activities under eTrade is the piloting of exchange of invoice data via the eDelivery channel between businesses (B2B) in an interoperable, secure and reliable way. In order to observe how the eDelivery pilot works in practice, the virtual showcase is organised on 9 December 2020 (12.30pm – 1.30pm CET).
The goal of this showcase is to demonstrate the pilot to a wider audience of representatives from the Eastern partner countries, who could benefit from introducing such a solution for invoice data exchange, not only between businesses but also for public administrations and citizens. EU4Digital will present the eDelivery solution, its applicability and benefits by showcasing how the standardised invoice data is exchanged via the Peppol eDelivery network between selected companies from Ukraine and Poland.
In addition, an exchange between additional countries will be included to demonstrate that once a country establishes an eDelivery Access Point, it unlocks the possibilities of data exchange with any member in the network (31 EU Member States and beyond).
The event will gather various participants including but not limited to representatives from ministries as well as private companies from Eastern partner countries.
More details regarding the material presented as well as the discussion points covered will be provided after the event.
