EU4Digital Network Event agrees outline of digital skills promotion campaign
Date: 01/03/21
The EU4Digital Facility organised a Digital Skills Network Event on 26 February 2021, at which the main principles for the EU4Digital Digital Skills Promotion campaign were presented and agreed upon with the Eastern partner country representatives.
There was also a short discussion on future trainings, conferences and study visits, and potential speakers, as well as estimated delivery of events, was confirmed with country representatives.
The promotion campaign is estimated to be carried out at the beginning of May 2021 and will demonstrate the impact that EU4Digital has had on the digital skills area in all Eastern partner countries, by pinpointing the main beneficiaries from digital skills related activities. The campaign will help to raise awareness on the necessity and benefits of improving digital skills.
Country representatives shared their insights and ideas of best practices for digital skills related activities in their countries in a brainstorming session joined by the EU4Digital Communication team. The main focus of the campaign, “Youth in STEM and ICT”, was chosen by the country representatives at a previous Network Event, and the best practices identified in the countries will aim to emphasise EU4Digital’s effort and successes in promoting digital skills to youth.
The EU4Digital Facility supports digital skills development and ICT Innovation in the Eastern partner countries through several activities, including the organisation of trainings, conferences and network events.
